Laser Skin Rejuvenation Laser skin treatments What is the procedure like? The laser is performed in the comfort and privacy of the office. Comfort is assured with local anesthesia and, if desired, intravenous sedation. The laser makes a clicking sound as it passes over the skin. After each pass the treated skin is wiped away with a moist gauze. Areas needing extensive repair may have several treatments. The treated areas are covered with an antibiotic ointment at the end of the procedure.
