How does
it work?
The CO2 laser works because the laser's energy is absorbed by
water and our cells are predominately water.
The laser energy is absorbed
by the surface skin cells which are then removed.
Each laser pulse acts so rapidly that there is little spread
of laser heat energy to surrounding cells, so the treatment
is controlled.
This controlled rejuvenation technique is less abrasive
and aggressive than surgery, chemical peels or dermabrasion.
The outer cell layers are
removed and new skin growth is stimulated from deeper young
skin cells.
The collagen beneath the skin
tightens and adds new support to the treated skin.
